Pear 'Beth'
Pear Beth is hardy, fast-growing fruit tree that stays fairly compact, perfect for gardens with limited space. In Spring, the plant produces an abundance of small white flowers, followed by masses of small, yellow-green pears. The fruits have a very sweet flavour and are ready to harvest in August.
This tree will thrive best in full sun. Plant in a plot of moist, fertile, well-drained soil, any soil type will do. Pear Beth are very easy to grow, although they do require pruning as they are spur bearers.
