Apart from offering fabulous fruits, the Malus 'Pink Glow' is also a wonderful ornamental tree offering a profusion of snowy white blossoms in spring. The blossoms are followed by oval-shaped bright crimson fruits which form in plum-like clusters. They attain a large size and ripen in early September.

Malus 'Pink Glow' is also known as Dolgo and gets its name from the distinctive pink colour of the fruits. These crab apples are exceptionally good for making crab apple jelly, offering a sweet taste and a deep red colour. They also provide a good source of pectin that can be used in other fruit jellies. The fruits are popular with wildlife, birds and bees and will attract a variety of creatures into your garden as the cooler winter season approaches.

Your Crab Apple tree is disease resistant and is fully hardy. It grows best in fertile, well drained soil and should be planted in full sun or partial shade. Your tree will reach a height of 6m with a spread of 5m in a 20 year period.
