This collection of extra early brassicas could see you harvesting delicious broccoli, cabbage and caulis from as early as late May/June! We nurture your plants, so you have no risk of winter weather, pests and diseases! With our increasingly wet and unpredictable winters, it makes sense to choose these brassica plants to give you an extra early crop this spring. We sow the seed in autumn and carefully nurture the plants during the winter months in a cool greenhouse. They are fully hardened off and despatched to you as sturdy, young plants in mid-March for immediate planting. All three varieties have been chosen for their great taste and early season vigour to give you delicious brassicas from May!

The collection consists of 40 plants, 10 of each variety:

Calabrese Aquiles F1 Can be over-wintered if desired for an extra early crop. It can also be planted closer together than many others. Once the central head is cut, delicious smaller side shoots are produced. Highly resistant to foliar downy mildew.

Cabbage Regency F1 A delicious pointed cabbage producing very uniform and compact hearts, with a strong base, and keeps well on the plot. Harvest from June.

Cabbage Mozart F1 - A versatile ballhead variety with exceptional standing ability meaning you can pick the cabbages over several months. Its strong root system means improved tolerance of drought, and resistance to pest attack.

Cauliflower Seoul F1 - A productive summer and autumn variety with a vigorous root system that ensures plants perform well under any stressed conditions. Produces very white, very dense curds of a very good flavour. Highly recommended for the showbench.
