- A climbing clematis that exudes effortless class, 'Sweet Summer Love' produces masses of fragrant flowers throughout the summer
- Attractive mid-green leaves sit alongside cruciform, mulberry and amethyst coloured flowers, which bloom between July and October and release an irresistable scent (with notes of sugar and vanilla)
- With its vigorous habit, you can easily train 'Sweet Summer Love' up arches, trellises, fences, walls, arbours or obelisks. All you need is some garden twine or wire and you're good to go
- Easy to grow and frost hardy, this clematis will withstand cold British winters
- Pollinators like bees will be drawn to the plant's pollen-rich seedhead and stamens, which are an attractive lilac and whitish colour
- Pruning group 3 - prune entire plant to a healthy bud 30cm from the ground in early spring
