- In warm summers it can produce large pink oval fruits - but only if you have two Akebia plants that can cross-pollinate

- A vigorous semi-evergreen twining climber which is ideal for training on a wall or pergola
- Low maintenance - Akebia is pest and disease resistant and needs no feeding or pruning
- Please Note: Our climbers are pruned back each winter, and some during the summer, so you may find at certain times of year they do not cover the whole 90cm cane. This is intentional to ensure the best growth when you plant out
