Beautiful dark pink double flowers appear in early or late spring, depending on the weather, and are a good early nectar source for pollinators. Plant Camellia ‘Princess Bachiocchi’ in a shady spot, in a moist, well drained acidic soil. Avoid east-facing positions, as the buds may be damaged by late frosts. Water in dry periods, especially in summer when the following year’s flower buds are developing.
