Baby Begonia rex 'Listada'
Begonia Rex Listada is a small, bushy houseplant with strikingly colourful foliage. Elongated, oval shaped, darkest green leaves are striped down the middle with eye-catching bright green. These beautiful leaves are also covered in small hairs, making them velvet to touch.
Place Begonia Rex Listada in a humid environment, such as the kitchen or bathroom and place in a partially shaded area - this plant will not tolerate direct sunlight - and water little but often. This plant is very well suited to a terrarium, which will mimic its natural habitat in Brazil.
The colourful pattern and velvety leaves make this an extremely attractive houseplant and would make an excellent gift for a plant lover, especially someone who likes a bit of a bigger challenge. Its miniature size means it’s perfect for anyone with smaller spaces to fill, whether it be a smaller living room or hallway, or a desk of shelf.
It’s not unusual to give your plant a name… so don’t hesitate to choose one that you think suits the plant! Try naming your plant with the first name or word that you think of when you look at it - that’s how we ended up with an orchid named Clover and spider plant called Joseph.
