Aphelandra 'Green'

The Aphelandra Green, more commonly known as the Zebra Plant, is an indoor plant that is often highly praised for its beautiful, evergreen foliage. The leaves of the plant are displayed in a way that is very similar to zebra stripes, hence the common name. Alongside the plants lovely foliage, it will produce bright and colourful flower bracts at times throughout the year. These bracts won't stay with you forever, but when they do appear, they are a sight to behold and a real reason as to why this is such a popular indoor plant. The plant will purify the air by removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air, appreciating placement in bright, indirect light. The Zebra Plant is a more temperamental indoor plant to care for, however, you will still only need to water it once a week, making misting the plant vital in giving it the humidity levels it need. Always make sure the soil is moist and well-drained.
