Sweet Pepper Plant 'Corno Russo Bulls Horn'
- Classic Italian Romano Bulls Horn
- Ideal to stuff
- Easier to grow than bell peppers
- Ideal for the greenhouse
These Medium-long 'Romano' peppers are typical of Rome and Southern Italy. Much easier to grow than bell peppers, they can be planted in a greenhouse or sunny spot in the garden in Southern England. Peppers start green and matures to a scarlet red colour. Long and plumb fruti with a turned point, hence the Horn name.
Despite not being as meaty as a bell pepper, they still stuff well but can also be used raw in salads, on pizza or for making Ratatouille. Feed with tomato food throughout the summer.
