'Supersweet' Cherry Tomato Plants
- An incredibly productive cherry tomato that provides bucketloads of – you guessed it – super sweet toms! Thin-skinned and larger than most cherry tomato varieties, the fruits of ‘Supersweet’ are perfect for salads (and popping straight from the vine…).
- ‘Supersweet’ is a cordon (indeterminate) variety and will therefore need support. Something like a bamboo cane works perfectly well. These plants are best grown in a greenhouse or a sheltered, sunny spot outdoors.
- A grafted hybrid (F1) variety, this plant is vigorous, healthier and less susceptible to pests and diseases. Add to that the sumptuous produce and you’re on to a real winner. Seriously, what’s not to like?
- Grown by our nursery specialists under glass until they’re healthy young plants ready to go in your garden. Plant in May or June, then harvest from July all the way through to October.
- This tomato is a great option to get your kids involved in the garden; it’s incredibly easy-going and simple to care for, and scientists (we) say that children are more likely to eat their veg if they’ve grown it themselves.
