Prunus incisa 'Otome'
A variety of Japanese Cherry tree, the Prunus incisa ‘Otome is a reliable flowering tree with lovely trusses of white flowers born of pale pink buds which appear early in the Spring months. Long, twisting branches carry the serrated or incised, rich green foliage which provides a great contrast to the flowers in the Spring and holds its colour through to the Autumn where the leaves begin to change to warm hues of orange and red.
Grows well in any moist, well-drained soils. Keep in full or partial sunlight. Hardy and resistant to most weather. Summer pruning is advised to tailor growth or shape.
