Prunus 'Colorata'
Prunus padus 'Colorata', or bird cherry Colorata, is a small, deciduous tree producing red-purple young foliage, that matures to a dark green flushed with purple. In spring, the tree produces a sea of pale pink flowers on dark purple stems, followed by dark fruits.
A hardy and low maintenance tree. Plant in a position with full sun, in a moist, fertile, well-drained soil.
