Prunus armeniaca

This gorgeous Apricot tree is a Prunus armeniacum - a deciduous fruit tree that grows flavoursome yellow-orange fruit tinged with red that should be ready to pick in Summer. The bright green foliage features in all seasons, except Winter when it falls away in time for fresh growth in Spring. Each piece of the succulent fruit is wonderfully juicy, although the tree also boasts lovely pink-white flowers in Spring and grows to a height and spread of 4m to 8m.

This variety is an MM106, making it a great orchard sized tree for your garden. It should be placed in full sunlight and can be grown in most soil types as long as they are kept moist and well-drained. This Prunus is also fully hardy and will be a stunning addition when given a large enough space to encompass its full growth.
