Cornus 'White Fountain'
Cornus kousa ‘White Fountain’ or White Flowering Dogwood is a smaller tree with lovely, interesting foliage that changes with the seasons along with cascading clusters of flowers all over it from the late Spring onwards. The foliage is mid-green in Spring and ages to a rich and vibrant red-pink hue as Autumn approaches. The flowers appear as clusters on tiny buds surrounded by large, broad bracts of cream-white, blanketing the foliage heavily.
A low maintenance, easy to grow tree. Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. The foliage is susceptible to leaf scorch under full sun during the warm Summer months in some climates.
