Clematis Mrs N Thompson Plants
A highly recommended, extremely free flowering variety, with large, purple blue flowers up to 15cm (6") across. Each petal individually marked with a beautiful red central stripe known in the clematis world as a 'Petunia Bar'. The highly conspicuous flowers appear against a backdrop of vibrant mid-green leaves to provide spectacular displays from late spring to early summer, often with a second flush of flowers repeating in late summer. Although flowering profusely the vigorous plants remain relatively compact, making them the ideal choice for smaller spaces, patio or balcony containers displays, as well as mid size trellis, gazebo's and archways. Height 1.8-2.5m (6-8').
