Bluebell Creeper | Sollya heterophylla 'Ultra Blue'
- An abundance of ultramarine, bell-shaped flowers carpet this evergreen climber throughout the summer months
- The charming, dangling blooms are borne in clusters, with each flower comprising five petals in an intense blue. These contrast beautifully with mid-green, lanceolate foliage which dresses the vine the whole year round
- 'Ultra Blue' is a half-hardy climber that trains very nicely up a patio trellis and looks fantastic when planted in a large container (this way, it can be moved to avoid those pesky periods of frost, too!)
- This variety of bluebell creeper is known for having a denser habit than other varieties of the species; again, this particularly lends itself to pot planting
- Please Note: Our climbers are pruned back each winter, and some during the summer, so you may find at certain times of year they do not cover the whole 90cm cane. This is intentional to ensure the best growth when you plant out
