Baby Polyscias balfouriana
Baby Polyscias Balfouriana is a small house plant which is native to islands in the South Pacific. These plants are like mini trees, with thick, woody stems like small tree trunks. Stems are covered with broad leaves which are dark green with creamy white edges.
Although they can adapt well to shade, these baby plants will grow best in bright, indirect light, away from any cold draughts. The soil should be kept moist at all times, but never waterlogged, and some regular misting will help these plants thrive.
The miniature size of this baby plant makes it perfect for smaller homes and spaces. It would look fabulous in the living room, as bedroom plants or bathroom plants, but a baby plant is also great as a desk plant to brighten up an office, or to brighten up a small shelf.
