Baby Monstera obliqua
Monstera Obliqua is certainly one for the Monstera fanatics! This plant is a rare and unusual member of the Monstera family with paper thin leaves that have several perforations, meaning there are actually more holes than there is leaf!
Place your Monstera Obliqua in bright, indirect light, ideally in a humid environment. If the area you wish to place it is not humid, you should atone for this by regularly misting it or place it in the bathroom every few days. You should keep the soil moist, but do not water more than twice weekly.
Baby plants are excellent for anyone with smaller spaces to fill, and they make the perfect gift plant too! This one is for the plant lover who has everything, and especially someone who is looking for a good challenge as these plants can be quite tricky to care for!
It’s not unusual to give your plant a name… so don’t hesitate to choose one that you think suits the plant! Try naming your plant with the first name or word that you think of when you look at it - that’s how we ended up with an orchid named Clover and spider plant called Joseph.
