Baby Alocasia 'Pink Dragon'

Alocasia Pink Dragon is a small houseplant with uniquely textured leaves. Pink stems fade to a deeper green in the centre of tough leaves, hardened on the top, reminiscent of dragon scales. It may be a baby plant, but its appearance certainly is eye-catching!

As a rainforest native, Alocasia Pink Dragon will benefit from a humid environment and bright, but indirect sunlight. It should be turned regularly to allow balanced growth, and the top layer of soil should be left to dry out before rewatering, although it will still benefit from a more humid environment.

This houseplant is an excellent choice for any plant lover, as it is relatively easy to care for as long as it is kept in the correct conditions. It would be well suited to a bathroom or kitchen thanks to its miniature size, but it would also look great on a desk or shelf as long as it gets enough light and a good misting regularly.

It’s not unusual to give your plant a name… so don’t hesitate to choose one that you think suits the plant! Try naming your plant with the first name or word that you think of when you look at it - that’s how we ended up with an orchid named Clover and spider plant called Joseph.
