Astrantia Collection Plants
Also known as Hattie’s Pincushion or Masterwort, Astrantias are equally lovely for informal cottage gardens and striking and modern planting schemes. They have branched heads of ornate, pincushion flowers, surrounded by a ruff of stiff, coloured bracts in summer and make an eye-catching cut flower. Easy to grow and especially useful for areas of dappled shade, under trees, with grasses or roses, they prefer moist but will happily tolerate drier or sunnier conditions if mulched regularly. Flowering throughout the summer, regular deadheading will prolong the blooming season.
This collection includes 1 bare root plant of each of the following varieties:
Astrantia Florence, Astrantia Roma and Astrantia Venice.
